Twa Corbies Hollow: the Location

Twa Corbies Hollow, the site of the bushcraft & homesteading school, is an expansive, semi-secluded homestead in the north woods of the Canadian highlands. Located in a valley atop a mountain, it offers meadows, glades, brush, woods, meadows and springs, and is crossed by one permanent and two seasonable brooks and has several ponds. A wide variety of trees, herbs and mushrooms grow in the region and there is a wide variety of wildlife, including various woodland and wetland fowl and numerous mammals. Some say the Hollow is haunted, as well, by the ghosts of the Scots who settled here long ago and the ancient peoples who preceded them. From the open forests to the west to the old hardwoods in the east, the Hollow is a wonderful and beautiful place to learn bushcrafting and the crafts of homesteading.
